The 20th
Annual Salute to the Lions Day will take place on
Saturday, July 17, at
Guiding Eyes for the Blind
in Yorktown Heights. Our caravan will leave from Latham at 8:00 a.m.,
and we should be back in Troy by around 5:00 p.m. The day will include a
luncheon, tours of the kennels and campus, and guide-dog demonstrations.
You’ll hear from graduates, Heeling Autism parents and puppy trainers,
and we’ll be presenting our donation. Families are welcome. Make your

235-8232. There’s no charge for the day, but they have to know how many
are coming so they can prepare for lunch.
Deadline is Tuesday, June 29. Let’s meet at 7:45
a.m. in front of Panera Bread in Latham, at the part of the parking lot
closest to the road. We can leave any unnecessary cars there. |
